Target has set off alarm bells after recalling five foods sold in states across the country, based on a decision by the FDA. This is a strategy that seeks to ensure the safety of its customers and prevent these products from continuing to be marketed. What are the foods in question? The large supermarket chain has made public its decision through an official statement. For this reason, we maintain a complete list of our products withdrawn from the market”, he assured.
Lay’s Classic Potato Chips
Lay’s Classic Party Sized bags of Lay’s potato chips were recalled by Target and other stores on December 18. The decision was made after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recalled the products in Oregon and Washington.
For its part, Frito-Lay announced that these products would no longer be marketed on December 16 in an official statement. “Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk are at risk of suffering a severe or life-threateningallergic reaction if they consume this product,” it said.
In an interview with Newsweek, a company representative said it was recalling a limited number of 13-ounce bags of the potatoes. They may contain undeclared milk. However, he clarified that only the classic Lays will be recalled and no other flavors or sizes of the brand.
MadeGood granola bars
Some MadeGood granola bars, distributed in the United States and Canada, were recalled from Target stores on December 9. This is due to a possible presence of a piece of metal in the product that, if consumed, can pose a serious health risk to people.
Target’s decision on the recalled products were related to several consumer complaints. Following this, the company conducted an exhaustive investigation, which resulted in the following list of affected foods:
- Chocolate chip granola bars.
- Granola bars with berries.

This wrap and other Russ Davis products containing cucumbers were distributed in retail outlets in different states. These included: Iowa, Illinois, Illinois, Michigan, Montana, Kansas, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
Sun-fed cucumbers
Target has recalled this product on November 28, following a recall by the FDA. As they explained, they could be contaminated with salmonella, so the best option was to stop marketing them.
